Jeane Dixon: Predictions and Misfires

Jeane Dixon
December 29th, 2014

Jeane Dixon is one of the most famous seers of the 20th century. This is probably because she gave bold and strange predictions, many of which came true. Some skeptics, however, associated the fame and fad with a false sense of admiration and coined the term “the Jeane Dixon Effect”. However, even if her correct predictions were fewer than those that didn’t come true, many still consider her one of the best psychics of our time.

Her Life as a Seer

Jeane was born to a wealthy family. Her father owned a car dealership with Hollywood producer Hal Roach. Later on, she married James Dixon, a car dealer in California. She had a childless marriage, yet the couple lived comfortably. Her husband ran a successful real estate company in Washington D.C. where she worked with him and served as its president of the company.

Jeane claimed that she received her “gift” when she was still young. She said that a gypsy handed her a crystal ball and predicted that she would be a famous seer and would be sought by powerful people for advice. Apparently, the prediction of the gypsy came true and Dixon became a well-known psychic who was sought by no less than former US President Richard Nixon for advice into his future.

Jeane Dixon gave predictions that were scarily accurate. One of her most significant predictions was the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. She made her prediction in 1956 and the murder occurred in 1963. Other assassinations she predicted included the deaths of Mahatma Ghandi, Martin Luther King, and JFK’s brother Robert F. Kennedy.

Another one of her notable predictions is the Russian space capsule Sputnik. She predicted that a silver orb will launch from Russia and reach outer space. This sparked outrage in the American community as they could not believe that Russians would outperform the USA. True enough, Sputnik was launched in Russia as the first outer space mission years later.

Predictions Still To Come

Before her death, Jeane Dixon made numerous predictions that have yet to come true. However, these are predictions that no one wants to happen. She predicted the coming of the Antichrist and the end of all humanity. She predicted that a comet will hit the Earth and cause earthquakes and tidal waves.

She predicted the coming of the Antichrist in a government within a government, where the US will have huge role to play. She claims that the False Prophet and the Antichrist are different entities that would lure the world into chaos.

Though some of her predictions are grim, it is still a testament to her gift as a seer. Many of her bold predictions did come true, and these catapulted Jeane Dixon to worldwide fame.
